C'est une cuvée numérotée de 600 bouteilles seulement, issue d'une petite parcelle d'argile au coeur de Saint-Emilion. Elle est élaborée en biodynamie par Alain Tourenne... aussi appelé le "vigneron magicien". C'est un de nos premiers coups de coeur, qui prêche la gourmandise et l'élégance.

Sur chaque bouteille vendue, 10€ seront reversés à l'ARSLA qui lutte contre la maladie de Charcot et accompagne les malades.

This quote, borrowed from Camus and recently popularized by the media-savvy Olivier Goy, also affected by Charcot's disease, is an ode to courage and hope. We wanted to pay tribute to him and to all those affected by this terrible disease, and to support, in our own way, the ARSLA, which supports patients and families and supports research. By purchasing a bottle of our vintage, you will indirectly donate €10 to this association.

What you need to know

His story

Already a winemaker in the wonderful Castillon appellation, Alain bought this small 1-hectare plot in 2008, converted everything to organic and biodynamic farming, and quickly earned the nickname "the magician."

Its terroir

Only 1 hectare in Saint-Emilion. A soil that wasn't easy to begin with, 100% clay, which Alain nicknamed his "Loving Earth": "It loves you so much that it sticks to your feet but produces beautiful grapes."

His character

It is a wine dominated by Cabernet (Sauvignon & Franc), which is rather rare on the right bank except... for a few well-known names like Figeac, Cheval-Blanc or Angelus.

His moment (and yours)

The 2022 vintage is a great one in Saint-Emilion, and here it has the merit of being able to be enjoyed now. But if you're patient, you can also enjoy it in 8-10 years.

His twist

Only 600 bottles, each numbered: 1/600, 2/600, 3/600 ... On the label, we find a quote from Camus: "In the middle of winter, I discovered within me an invincible summer", an ode to courage and hope

His perfect agreement
