It's the story of a return to her roots. In 2013, Marthe left her career as a journalist in Paris to start from scratch, or almost. She settled down at her grandmother Eliane's house in Meursault, putting on her boots while reopening her school notebooks.
Marthe Henry, so romantic
A few years later, she was a farm worker and at the helm of a small, growing business in Burgundy. A human-scale wine merchant (maximum 20,000 to 30,000 bottles/year), sourced directly from winegrower friends, vinified as naturally as possible, and aged for a long time in the family cellar in Muret.
Marthe is wholehearted, sensitive and hopelessly romantic... in the 19th century sense of the term. In her wines we feel this mixture of elegance, restraint and exaltation, this need to express her "I" and to let nature speak without any trickery. Like this confidential vintage that she agreed to offer on Goodness: A Rebours .

This limited-edition cuvée is a true interpretation of the expressions of Burgundy whites. It is a blend of plots from great Burgundy villages (Meursault, Rully, Montagny, Santenay), from the 2022 vintage and made from 100% Chardonnay.
The name À Rebours is a nod to JK Huysmans's novel of the same name, a symbol of self-reflection and a quest for inner beauty. This vintage embodies this philosophy: an invitation to slow down, savor the moment, and let yourself be transported by sensations.
"With this exclusive 2022 Chardonnay blend, I hope to take you on a journey to the heart of Burgundy," hopes Marthe Henry.

"César walks with you": an association that supports children with disabilities
The César Marche avec Vous association has a simple and essential mission: to help children with disabilities develop their independence and motor skills, particularly those affected by congenital CMV, like César. Since its inception, the association has supported specialized therapies—such as the CME method—that enable these children to make concrete progress in their daily lives.
Thanks to donations, several intensive courses have already been funded, resulting in very concrete progress for César and other children. The next major project is that of Marine Dufour, César's mother, who will set off with him on the Camino de Santiago in a joëlette. A challenge that is at once symbolic, physical, and deeply inspiring, to fly the flag for inclusion and courage.
